Generate a personal QR code with your account and amount. Anyone with SonPay can scan it and pay you instantly — no cash, no hassle.
Open the Top-Up tab and tap the QR icon to generate your unique payment QR code. You can include a specific amount so the payer sees exactly how much to send. The sender simply scans the code using SonPay's built-in scanner and confirms the payment. Payments are instant and currency conversion happens automatically if sender and recipient use different currencies.
NFC Payments
Tap two phones together to pay — no QR scanning needed. Fast, contactless, and works even without internet on the sender's side.
SonPay supports NFC-based payments on all Android devices with NFC hardware. The recipient writes their payment info to an NFC tag (or uses their phone directly), and the sender taps to read and confirm the payment. It's the fastest way to accept payment at a counter, market stall, or any in-person situation. No internet required on the receiving end.
Loan Requests
Request a short-term loan from SonPay or trusted contacts within the app — managed transparently on the platform.
Through the E-Services section, users can submit loan requests specifying the amount and repayment terms. The request is reviewed and, if approved, funds are added to the wallet directly. All loan activity is tracked within the Transactions page. This feature is designed for personal short-term needs and is managed transparently so you always know your balance and obligations.
Shared Payments
Split a bill with a group. SonPay divides the total, notifies each person, and lets them pay their share with one tap.
Going out with friends? Use Split Payment under the Send tab. Select the recipient (e.g. the restaurant), enter the total bill, and add the account numbers of everyone splitting it. SonPay divides the amount equally, deducts your share immediately, and sends each participant a notification with their share. You can track who has paid and who is still pending in real time.
Gift Cards
Send digital gift cards to anyone on SonPay — perfect for birthdays, celebrations, or just a thoughtful surprise.
Available in the Business Hub under Gift Cards, you can purchase and send gift cards of any value to another SonPay account. The recipient gets notified and the gift card balance is added to their wallet. Business accounts can also issue branded gift cards to their customers, making SonPay a complete gift card management solution with no physical card needed.
Ads Rewards
Watch a short ad and earn real money directly into your SonPay wallet — up to 5 times per day, no strings attached.
Head to Top-Up → Earn tab and tap "Watch Ad & Earn." A short rewarded video ad plays, and once it finishes you earn 0.50 USD (converted to your wallet currency at the current exchange rate). You can do this up to 5 times per day, earning up to 2.50 USD daily just by watching ads. The earnings are credited instantly and appear in your transaction history.

Hide Balance
Tap the eye icon on the home screen to instantly hide your balance from prying eyes — tap again to reveal it anytime.
Your balance is always private when you want it to be. Whether you're showing your phone to someone else or using SonPay in a public place, the hide balance feature lets you mask your funds with a single tap. Your preference is saved automatically so the app remembers your choice.
Request Payment
Send a payment request to any SonPay account — they get notified instantly and can pay or decline with one tap.
No more awkward "hey, can you send me money?" conversations. Enter the account number of the person you want to charge, set the amount, add a note (like "for dinner" or "split bill"), and hit Send Request. The recipient sees all pending, paid, and declined requests in the Incoming tab — each with the requester's verified badge if applicable.
Split Bill
Split any bill with friends. Add participants, set the total — SonPay calculates and notifies everyone automatically.
Perfect for group dinners, shared subscriptions, or trip expenses. Select the recipient (merchant/friend to pay), add all participants, enter the total amount, and SonPay divides it equally. Each participant is notified with their share amount and can pay instantly. You can track who's paid and who's pending — all in real time.
Live Support Chat
Chat directly with the SonPay support team inside the app. No emails, no waiting — real-time help when you need it.
Head to the Support tab and start a live chat session. A welcome message is sent automatically, and our team responds as fast as possible. Your chat history is saved so you can always refer back to previous conversations. The chat shows verified badges next to official SonPay agents so you always know you're talking to the real team.
Sign in with Google
Create or access your SonPay account instantly using your Google account — no password needed.
New users can sign up in seconds using their existing Google account. Returning users can link Google to their existing SonPay account from the Profile page, making future logins one tap. You can also unlink Google at any time from the Profile settings if you prefer to use your email and password instead.
Login with Account Number
Forgot your email? Log in using your SonPay account number and password — it's that simple.
On the login screen, switch to the "Account Number" tab, enter your 8-digit SonPay account number and your password. The app automatically finds your linked email and signs you in securely. This is especially useful if you use multiple email accounts and can't remember which one you used to register.
Verified Badge
A blue verification checkmark appears next to trusted and official SonPay accounts — just like on X and Instagram.
When an account is officially verified by Son LLC, a distinctive blue badge appears next to the account name everywhere in the app — in the top bar, on the profile page, in transactions, in payment requests, and even in PDF receipts. This helps you instantly identify official businesses, merchants, and SonPay partners and avoid sending money to imposters.
Beneficiaries & Quick Access
Save your frequent contacts and send money to them in one tap — no need to type account numbers every time.
The Beneficiaries page has two smart lists. The Saved tab lets you manually add contacts by account number — give them a name and they're saved forever. The Frequent tab automatically shows the accounts you've transferred to most, ranked by transaction count. Tap the send arrow on any contact to enter the amount and transfer instantly.
Custom Invoice Numbers
Business accounts can now set their own invoice numbers instead of using auto-generated ones — perfect for accounting systems.
In the Business Hub, when creating a new invoice, toggle "Custom Invoice Number" to enter your own reference number (e.g. INV-2026-001). SonPay checks that the number is unique for your account before saving it. If you prefer the old way, leave the toggle off and the app generates a number automatically. This makes SonPay invoices compatible with external accounting and ERP software.
PDF Transaction Receipt
Download a professional PDF receipt for any transaction — with the SonPay logo, verified badge indicators, and full details.
Tap any transaction to open its details, then hit the PDF button. The app generates a formatted PDF receipt containing the transaction ID, date, amount, currency conversion, sender and recipient details (with verified badges where applicable), and status. Save it directly to your SonPay folder or open it in any PDF reader. Receipts are fully offline-compatible once generated.
Binance USDT Top-Up
Top up your SonPay wallet using USDT (TRC20) from Binance — funds are converted to your wallet currency automatically.
Go to Top-Up → Binance tab. Send USDT via the TRC20 network to the displayed wallet address, then enter the amount you sent and tap Verify. SonPay checks your Binance deposit history (last 3 days) and credits the equivalent amount in your wallet currency using real-time exchange rates. A 1% fee tolerance is applied to account for network fees.

PIN Security Lock
Set a 4-digit PIN to lock your SonPay account. Every login requires your PIN to keep your funds secure.
After logging in, SonPay asks for your 4-digit PIN before granting access to your wallet. Set and change your PIN anytime from Security Settings. A default PIN (0000) is assigned on first login — you'll be prompted to change it immediately for your safety. The PIN is securely hashed and never stored in plain text.
Color-Coded Transactions
Incoming money shows in green with a + sign. Outgoing money shows in red with a − sign. Crystal clear at a glance.
Every transaction in your history is color-coded based on direction. When your account is the recipient (To), the amount appears in green with a + prefix. When your account is the sender (From), it appears in red with a − prefix. This applies across all transaction types — transfers, payment requests, QR, NFC, and split payments — giving you an instant visual summary of your money flow.
Transaction Notes & Tags New
Add a personal note or tag to any transaction for easier searching and budgeting later.
When sending money, you can add a note (visible to both parties) and a private tag (visible only to you) such as #food, #rent, or #business. Notes appear in the transaction detail and on PDF receipts. Tags let you filter your transaction history by category, making it much easier to track spending and prepare expense reports. Tags are fully searchable from the Transactions search bar.
Dark Mode New
Switch to a sleek dark interface that's easier on the eyes — especially at night or in low-light environments.
Enable Dark Mode from Profile → Appearance Settings or let SonPay follow your device's system theme automatically. Every screen, card, and dialog is fully optimized for dark mode with carefully chosen contrast ratios so nothing feels washed out. Dark mode also reduces battery consumption on OLED screens, keeping your phone running longer.
